Tomorrow is Christmas Eve and the year is drawing to a close. Time for me to thank you for having accompanied me along the way and motivating me with your comments and kind words.
With all my heart I wish you and your families a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
At the same time I would like to start a small personal review of my year 2018.
Sure, one should not look back, yet it is very important on my personal journey to take a look back.
What was good, what was not so good, what can I change. Possibly work out new goals, not only in the area of my acceptance, but also with my work with this blog and with my training.
This year I have come to the conclusion that I am on the right path, that I have almost reached my personal intermediate goal of reaching 95 kg by the end of the year.
At the moment I weigh 95.8 kg, I was also able to reduce my circumference by a few centimeters through targeted and regular strength training.
I was able to dampen my chronic pain through the decrease and the constant training and thus regain a large part of my quality of life! And I can say that, after I turned 50 this year in September!
If I had been told years ago that I would start exercising at the age of 50 , I would have laughed loud !!! Me and sport, no chance!
But that’s the proof, you really should never say never!
In terms of nutrition, it has changed so far that I am currently vegetarian with the tendency to eat vegan. I thank our Junior, who, at the age of 13, has decided to become a vegetarian.
We get along very well, also with the training and the protein intake by plant foods! Oh yes, that is possible and there are many athletes who practice this without any problems.
For me this year 2018 has been a beautiful year, I have never been so close to myself!
My intent for 2019? Well, just continue like this year!
I hope you will be going with me this way in the New Year! It would be a pleasure for me!
