I’m always looking for a good and tasty food. And I love dips and spreads. I am more a sort of a hearty type, I have tried to make this hearty dip with eggplant and feta!

Especially on Saturday evening, I like a richly laid table and my little family around me! Nothing is more sociable than sitting together at the table, having good food and just having fun together!

This time I had the idea to make my homemade focaccia with herbs, served with different little things, like meatballs, salads, and various dips and spreads.

I grabbed one eggplant, which was all alone in the basket and combined it with the feta, which was still in the fridge. A few spices and this eggplant feta dip was ready.

If you like it more hearty, then this spread is absolutely something for you! Inspired by the Turkey and Greek kitchen!

I did not use a specific recipe but just started mixing and seasoning it, as it was good for my taste.

Eggplant and feta cheese dip

  • Portionen: 10/1 tbsp

Nutritional information per serving = 1 tbsp: 41 kcal, 1 g Kh, 2 g fat, 3 g protein


Ingredients for 10 servings

– 400 g of eggplant

– 100 g of feta cheese, light

– 15 ml of olive oil

– 30 ml of water

– 1 tsp herbs of Provence

– 1 teaspoon garlic powder

– Salt pepper


  1. Peel the eggplants, cut into cubes.
  2. Put in a pot of water and cook for about 15 minutes.
  3. Drain and squeeze well the water out.
  4. Add to a blender with feta cheese, olive oil, a little water, herbs, garlic powder, salt and pepper and blend everything.
